Milestone Systems awarded 2010 Axis Application Development Partner of the Year
Last month Milestone Systems was awarded the 2010 Application Development Partner (ADP) of the Year for North America by Axis Communications during the annual Axis Channel Convergence Conference (ACCC). Milestone is one of the leading providers of open platform IP video management software.
Axis selected Milestone for the award because of the two companies’ close product collaboration throughout the year. Milestone worked alongside Axis as a partner in the Axis ADP program, which helps software developers ensure compatibility with Axis network video products for their video management software applications. As an ADP, Milestone can create software solutions for customers using the VAPIX® platform, technical documentation, Software Development Kits (SDKs), development support and the Axis Camera Application Platform.
Axis is also recognized as a Milestone Manufacturer Alliance Partner (MAP), further solidifying their partnership. Both companies are committed to working with ONVIF-compliant products, ensuring greater compatibility between the two manufacturers’ products. This commitment and the overall partnership make it easier for both Milestone and Axis to provide solutions and options to their customers when it comes to designing IP surveillance systems.
