Axis takes home pair of awards for its thermal and PTZ network cameras
Last month Axis won two prestigious product awards for a pair of its newest IP camera models. First the Axis Q1910-E snagged the Maximum Impact Award at the Electronic Security Expo (ESX). Then Network Products Guide was kind enough to proclaim the Axis Q6034 PTZ Dome as the winner of the 2010 Best Products and Services Award: Best in Physical Security.
ESX chose to award the Axis Q1910-E based on its ability to offer around-the-clock surveillance, even in completely dark conditions. As part of the new Axis thermal camera line, the Q1910-E is able to detect people and objects using thermal imaging. This allows the camera to function effectively in the dark and also in the presence of heavy smoke, haze and dust.
As for the Axis Q6034, it was recognized by Network Products Guide for meeting the ever-changing needs and expectation of customers worldwide. The Q6034 provides full HDTV video, and 18x optical zoom, plus fast and accurate pan/tilt/zoom performance.
