Axis continues to introduce new cameras to its product line. The latest release is the Axis Q1755 network camera, which delivers true HDTV performance meeting the SMPTE standard for resolution, frame rate, and color representation. When connected to a HDTV monitor, the Axis Q1755 is the ideal surveillance solutions for areas such as airports, casinos, banks, and boarder station where outstanding image detail is required.
The Axis Q1755 IP camera delivers high-definition 1080i resolution with 16:9 aspect ratio, and supports H.264 and Motion JPEG video compression. With H.264 compression, the camera can stream true HDTV resolution at full frame rate while reducing storage and bandwidth demands.
Other highlights of the Q1755 include day/night functionality, progressive scan for capturing clear images of fast-moving objects, 10x optical zoom, and advanced network security. The camera also includes intelligent features such as enhanced motion detection, audio detection, tamper detection, and a Gatekeeper function that automatically zooms in on a scene when activity is perceived.
