Axis P3301 IP camera one of the first to offer H.264 compression
The Axis P3301 is one of the latest IP camera releases from Axis Communications. It delivers superb image quality and supports H.264 compression technology to fully optimize network bandwidth and storage capacity. With H.264, users can stream video at higher resolutions and faster frame rates without bogging down the network. Bandwidth usage is reduced significantly when compared to other popular compression technologies such as MJPEG. The P3301 offers a top resolution of 640 x 480, and supports a maximum frame rate of 30 frames per second at that resolution.
The fixed-mount camera features a solid plastic casing with a clear polycarbonate dome. A vandal-proof model is also available for installation in more vulnerable areas. Along with providing outstanding image quality, the P3301 offer a host of sophisticated features, including bi-directional audio, password protection, PoE, and advanced motion detection. The Axis P3301 also comes bundled with IP Installer software that locates the camera on your network and makes the configuration process quick and easy.
