Axis introduces small, yet smart, M10 network cameras

Axis Communications has released a new line of small, intelligent network cameras. The Axis M10 Network Camera series features compact cameras ideal for monitoring small businesses, restaurants, homes, hotels, boutiques, and more. The cameras are affordable, easy to use, and provide all the benefits of network video.

There are three models in the Axis M10 camera series: the Axis M1011, Axis M1011-W, and Axis M103-W. Each delivers clear and detailed surveillance footage at 30 frames per second in full VGA resolution. The Axis M1011-W and M103-W models add the flexibility of built-in wireless connectivity for installation in virtually any location. The Axis M1031-W also features a passive infrared sensor for intelligent motion detection even in the dark.

All Axis M10 series cameras offer multiple, configurable video streams in H.264, Motion JPEG, and MPEG-4 Part 2 formats at full frame rate. The cameras also use progressive scan technology to deliver clear images of moving objects without motion blur.
