Arecont Vision network cameras chosen for Lucky Eagle Casino surveillance
Washington State's Lucky Eagle Casino recently completed installation of a new IP-based surveillance system featuring megapixel network cameras from Arecont Vision. The casino made the move to IP megapixel cameras in order to capture higher-quality video footage with greater detail for identifying critical information.
It's important that the casino's surveillance operators are able to clearly view the indexes of the playing cards, for instance. The operators need to be able to distinguish card suits, which is possible with megapixel cameras but wasn't something they could observe with Lucky Eagle's previous analog CCTV system. Along with providing improved clarity for detailed viewing, the Arecont Vision megapixel cameras offer wide-area surveillance, help to detect suspicious behavior and cheating, and also work to ensure employee procedure compliance.
The casino chose to install Arecont Vision AV2100M megapixel network cameras to achieve these goals. The AV2100M cameras offer 2 megapixel resolution, fast frame rates, and low-light performance down to 0. 1 lux. They deliver full-motion HDTV progressive scan, support Power over Ethernet, and include built-in electronic PTZ for flexible wide-area surveillance.
