Arecont Vision introduces new MegaDome outdoor dome cameras at ASIS 2011
We already shared some of the highlights of last month’s ASIS 2011 with you, and now we have another one. Megapixel-specialist, Arecont Vision unveiled its new D4SO series of MegaDome compact all-in-one outdoor domes at the trade show as well.
Improving on the color or day/night imaging of the company’s MegaVideo H.264 compact 1.3 megapixel, 1080p, 3 megapixel or 5 megapixel cameras, the new line adds a 3.3-12mm varifocal lens for increased efficiency and advanced image capture. The Arecont Vision cameras also have 4-inch surface mount IP66 environmentally rated and vandal-resistant housings.
The D4SO-AV115-3312 offers 1280 x 1024 pixel (1.3 megapixel) images at 32 frames per second. The D4SO-AV2115-3312 provides 1920 x 1080 pixel (2.07 megapixel or 1080 HD) images at 24 frames per second. Rounding out the new product offering are the higher-resolution D4SO-AV3115-3312 camera with 2048 x 1536 pixel (3 megapixel) images and the D4SO AV5115-3312 camera at 2592 x 1944 pixel (5 megapixel) images. Each of the cameras also comes in a day/night version.
