Arecont Vision AV10005 dual-mode 10MP/1080p network camera on display at ISC West
Arecont Vision is unveiling its AV10005 series of megapixel cameras at ISC West 2010. The Arecont Vision AV10005 is unique in that it combines the resolution of a 10-megapixel camera and full HD 1080p performance at 30 frames per second, all in the same camera system. This innovative dual mode camera offers 33 times the resolution of standard VGA-resolution cameras, and uses H.264 compression to reduce network bandwidth usage while conserving storage space.
The camera also increases bandwidth efficiency by allowing users to crop the field-of-view to any resolution. You can change the aspect ratio, and apply different compression technologies based on the requirements for a particular application.
Other key camera features include digital PTZ, forensic zooming, a MoonLight mode for nighttime use, and on-camera motion detection with 64 detection zones. The Arecont Vision AV10005 is available in standard, day/night, and auto-iris versions.
