Oscar Cerami, an Italian retailer specializing in ceramics and pottery, has unique needs in terms of video surveillance. The main concern for this chain of stores is having enough image detail to closely monitor very small objects. To meet this requirement, Oscar Cerami chose an IP surveillance solution that incorporates ACTi megapixel network cameras.
For the project, 36 ACTi ACM-4200 megapixel IP cube cameras have been installed across 10 different retail points. The ACTi ACM-4200 is a megapixel cube camera that delivers outstanding image quality for clear and detailed video monitoring. The camera can stream up to SXGA resolution at 8 frames per second. It offers excellent low-light performance, and it supports two-way audio.
Footage from the ACTi megapixel cameras travels to a central management station where the security manager can monitor each camera simultaneously. Remote monitoring and recording are handled from the control room which is equipped with three LCD monitors, a main server and a backup server.
