ACTi partners with iOmniscient for intelligent IP surveillance solutions
A new partnership between ACTi and iOmniscient aims to provide system integrators with comprehensive solutions for intelligent IP surveillance. The end-to-end solutions will incorporate video analytics from iOmniscient with ACTi's lineup of high-performance IP cameras.
Already iOmniscient and ACTi have successfully integrated IQ-Hawk, a sophisticated detection and identification technology, with ACTi megapixel network cameras. With IQ-Hawk, identification and detection capabilities can be combined in one camera. This allows the camera to detect multiple incidents at once, and identify all individual and vehicles involved. A traditional PTZ camera would only be able to zero in on one incident at a time. The combination of ACTi megapixel cameras and iOmniscient's IQ-Hawk technology provides more coverage with a greater likelihood that users will capture the most useful video footage as it happens.
