Post office surveillance cameras capture footage of Philadelphia murder
Post office security cameras captured images of a brutal murder that took place in Philadelphia this week. Patricia McDermott, 48, was on her way to work Tuesday morning when she was shot and killed by an unknown attacker. The entire tragic scene was captured on video, and now police are hoping the surveillance footage will lead to the man's arrest.
Video images from the post office surveillance cameras reveal the man following the victim after she exits the bus, firing a gun, and the fleeing from the scene. The footage has allowed police to produce a description of the man, which is now being compared to a sketch of a potential suspect who was on the same bus as McDermott that morning. Efforts are underway to further enhance the video footage as the investigation continues.
