Westec Interactive acquires Digital Witness

Remote video monitoring company Westec Interactive has purchased Digital Witness, a subscription-based surveillance company offering services geared for small to medium sized businesses in major U.S. cities. The acquisition will increase Westec's concentration on metropolitan markets and enhance its customer service relations by employing Digital Witness' unique subscription-based model.

The Digital Witness system serves business owners as well as the restaurant, hospitality, and retail industries. Users of the system pay a monthly subscription fee in exchange for a complete IP video package that offers on-site and remote surveillance monitoring via the Internet, along with the ability to customize reports. The package includes cutting-edge IP surveillance equipment, software, installation, and technical support.
