Pelco and SmartConnect team up for casino surveillance solution

Pelco recently announced a collaboration with SmartConnect that will result in a new software platform for loss prevention in casinos. The platform enables Endura, Pelco's IP-based video security system, to operate in conjunction with SmartConnect's CasinoVision POS Version 4.1 security software.

This combination will allow casino operators to better manage loss prevention in their food, bar, and restaurant concessions. The solution links point-of-sale (POS) transactions directly to the casino's video security system.
