Lucky Eagle Casino, located in southwest Washington State, has installed a new video surveillance system featuring megapixel network cameras from Arecont Vision. The casino made the conversion from analog to IP surveillance in an effort to provide surveillance operators with clearer video images for heightened security and identification purposes.
One of the key roles of the casino surveillance system is to deliver detailed images of the activity at the card tables. The Arecont Vision megapixel cameras provide enough detail for surveillance operators to clearly distinguish card suits, something the older cameras couldn't.
The new system uses Arecont Vision AV2100M 2 megapixel cameras along with the casino's existing CCTV cameras to monitor the facility, with the new cameras delivering detailed images of jackpot hands and chip activity at the roulette tables.
