Oklahoma's Wyandotte Nation Casino has added Panasonic IP cameras and NVRs into its new hybrid video surveillance system. The Casino's aim for the new system is to increase safety and minimize crime, while incorporating existing analog cameras, monitors and DVRs. As it turns out, the new system is so powerful that it surpasses the State Gaming Commission’s standards.
The Casino chose six different Panasonic cameras to monitor two gaming properties, equaling approximately 20,000 square feet. With more than 235 cameras, the Casino has an eye on everything going on throughout the premises. The system is fully scalable and can be monitored and controlled remotely, allowing gaming commission officials to view live footage and video archives off-site. Eventually the cameras will be incorporated with the Casino’s access control system. Additional future developments include adding wireless IP cameras to monitor parking lots.
