Axis IP cameras and Milestone XProtect software help secure showground
The Three Counties Fairground, located in Worcester, England, recently installed an IP-based video surveillance system to prevent vandalism and cut down on criminal activity. The Showground, which hosts horticulture shows throughout the year, will also use the surveillance system to protect plants, machinery, and livestock. The components of the IP surveillance solution include Axis 2130 and Axis 213 network cameras, along with Milestone XProtect video management software.
The Axis 213 IP cameras are placed throughout each entrance to the showground. They record video images based on motion detection, offer wide-range viewing, and feature the ability to capture clear images of details such as license plate numbers. Axis 2130 network cameras monitor all traffic entering and leaving through the main entrances of the showground.
Milestone's XProtect Remote Client software allows users to monitor the cameras remotely during off hours. Live and recorded images can be viewed at any time from any computer.
