Argentine mall installs Axis surveillance cameras
Located in an affluent Argentine neighborhood, Nine Shopping center is home to 80 retail shops, a movie cinema, food court and parking lots. To secure this expansive and diverse retail area, mall officials invested in a video surveillance system featuring Axis security cameras.
Nine Shopping's main imperative was to be able to closely monitor critical areas in real time. In effort to secure entrances, perimeters and parking areas, they selected several Axis IP cameras, including:
Security personnel are able to view IP video streams from a central monitoring station, as well as remotely with handheld devices. In addition to keeping an eye on shoppers, officials can also use IP video as a tool to help manage employees.
With the inherent expandability of IP camera systems, Nine Shopping can easily grow its surveillance program to fulfill future needs. In fact, they plan to install 60 additional cameras in stores, theaters and throughout the food court this year.
