Panasonic's new outdoor camera has powerful PTZ
Panasonic has announced a new rugged outdoor version of its i-PRO SmartHD dome camera. The new Super Dynamic WV-SW395 is equipped against direct sunlight, humidity, water, dust, extreme temperatures and challenging weather.
Designed for use in demanding outdoor scenarios, this dome camera offers industrial-grade PTZ with a 360-degree field of view and 64 preset conditions. Auto tracking enables it to follow a moving subject using pan and tilt functions. Face Super Dynamic detects faces and maintains clear images of people, making this camera especially suited for outdoor environments where surveillance of people is paramount.
The WV-SW395 offers high-resolution recording with a new 1.3-megapixel MOS sensor that’s especially sensitive and power efficient. Its 1280x960 pixel resolution at 30 fps produces smooth video. To optimize bandwidth and storage of HD video, this camera offers industry-leading H.264 compression. 128x wide dynamic range compensates for backlighting to create for properly exposed image even in challenging light.
